Ps4 wifi higher download than ethernet

 · Do you want to know how much faster the download speeds are on the PS5 vs the PS4? I will be testing both systems side by side with a LAN internet connection. We have Comcast Xfinity "Blast". bltadwin.ru says our wifi download is at about 15Mb and our LAN download is at about 93Mb (as measured on one of our laptops). However, our PS4 shows incredibly slow speeds and, even stranger, our wi-fi is faster than our LAN connection.  · Changing DNS on your PS4 only: Navigate to "Settings Network Set Up Internet Connection". -Choose whether or not you'll be using a wireless or LAN connection. After this, it will prompt you for a connection test again, with any luck, your download speed will Operating System: PS4.

Then, turn the PS4 on and connect to your wifi network again. Try a wired connection. If you badly need a fast connection and you have no time to troubleshoot your PS4 wifi, use an ethernet cable. Rather than keeping with the old PS4's b/g/n wireless adapter that allowed for only GHz wireless transmission with your router, a frequency that many other devices use and can lead to. The speeds are certainly better than what i was getting on my PS4 pro, which also did the same thing when using Lan vs Wifi, but the speeds did not match that of the PS5. Would like to see the download speeds of those with gigabit connections, im on virgin media package.

So it's not related to pfSense, but either to your cables or an issue with the PS4s themselves. Attach a Laptop in place of one of the PS4s and see if the ping is bad too. Download the reinstallation file (button below) and save it in the "UPDATE" folder. Save the file as "bltadwin.ru". Plug the USB drive containing the file into the PS4 console. Start the PS4 console in Safe Mode: press and hold the power button, releasing after the second beep. Select Safe Mode option 7: Reinstall System Software.
